Went riding and I've adjusted the chain to where it has about 3/4 in. play. If I hit a jump(about 6-8ft.) going up a steep hill and get some air, the chain falls off. Don't want to over tighten. The chain is aready stretched.:wonderingThanxs BEETS

Get a new chain. Are your sprockets worn? If so replace them too.

:acr I ride pretty hard, so i guess it wears quick? Rear sprocket is fine and the front the tops of the teeth are starting to curve. I'll buy a new set w/ chain. Thanxs BEETS

yeah check the bearings in the pivot and carrier too, i have had that happen to my old x and thats what the cause was, beat bearings in the carrier.

Just replaced the carrier bearings, seals 2 weeks ago before ride timberline trails, Marienville, PA.. I don't think the swing arm bearings are bad. The is no side to side noise (get on the bike while standing, rock side to side to feel for play) Is there another way? With out taking it apart? Beets
