Well the wait is just about over. The first of the shipment came in today.
Here are pics of the front and rear fenders. The shrouds and air box covers are soon to follow. I will post those pics too when they arrive.

I love that Orange, don't know why but I do. Someone should get a hold of Yamaha-Jim or TriZ-Jim (whatever he goes by now), I bet he would love that orange plastic as well.

I have always liked the Yamaha Blue.I am going to have to change the color of my tri-zinger to blue now.I havent been able to locate a mint front fender.Blue fronts come along a lot more!! I can wait to get started on the Blue Tri-z.I just have to keep checking to see whn you order the Headlight plastics. Thanks for all your hard work and time you all put into this!!!!!!!!! :beer

I have a few sets left, I will either sell them on ebay or first come first serve. pm me if you want a set. I sold most at a pre-ordered rate of 479, and I will probably sell a few on ebay for $500-550 depending on the color and what is in stock. Most likely Maier will never find another customer like Cosmic Quads or Sprock Racing willing to spend the money to get the custom colors, we could have literally bought a new car with the money invested. Maybe some day they will drop there min quanitys and be able to produce more custom plastic, but with all the new atvs/rhinos/etc... Chances are, you will not be able to purchase these again.

Ok here is the low-down.
When we had these molds casted,Maier and us were concerned about the durability of the mount holes.Due to the vacumm forming,The plastic in the mounting areas gets stretched too thin and could cause early failure.
So we had them revise the mold slightly at that area of the Rad shrouds.
THEY ARE NOW STRONGER THAN EVER!!!
In doing this refinement,it makes the shrouds sit a little closer to the radiator than normal,so Maier came up with a easy solution.
Basically the shrouds will use a 1/4 " thick nylon spacer behind the shroud bolt in the upper mount hole to properly fit.Without this spacer,the shroud will rub the radiator cap on the right side of the bike.This has posed 2 minor hiccups in the deal.

1) Maier stated, the spacers would be part of the deal when we last spoke and even shipped me 2 spacers to approve the design and fitment of..

Upon recieving the order,we found the spacers were not in the boxes.Some 150 of them are needed.When we contacted them to question the missing spacers,we were basically told something all together different.
Basically,they told us the spacers were not included after the fact,and I would be responsible for paying for them,and that they could take up to 4 weeks to have made.(who wants anymore wait time)LOL.

2) The second minor issue this created,was the mounting bolts need to be longer to Work with the spacers correctly.Ronnie's SS bolts work correctly,but are just a little shorter than we would like them to be.
So at this point,we have made up some spacers by hand from nylon stock to start shipping the first sets.
Another member on this board stepped up and saved the day,and currently has 100 spacers in route to us as we speak.(He can chime in if he wants to be known):beer
I have been in touch with Ronnie,and he is currently researching finding longer SS bolts for us to ship out with these pieces.:beer

Now at this point,none of you who pre-ordered will be charged any more $$$ for these "extras".
We wanted this deal to go thru flawless and needless to say, it has not.


All we can say is thank goodness for the guys that have stepped up and try to help us with these issues.
Now becuase of this little setback,it has delayed the shipping to you guys.
I want you all to be satisfied hence the delay.

If you choose not to wait for these little bushings and bolts,just post up and I will ship out your order asap.
A few orders have shipped today.
I am currently trying to round up boxes to complete the shipping of the other orders.That in itself has posed a challenge,as these are kind of odd sized peices to ship,and the shear quantity of boxes I need.
