Clear coat?

How come when I clear coat something, my color turns very dull, and a white like clear coat??? Im not spraying on to thick. :wondering

What is the base color? If its chrome or a shiny silver clear coat usually does that to my pieces also. Never had any problems with regular colors though such as red, blue, yellow etc...

Its yellow.... I never really had good luck with clear coat except one time on a bike frame, it turned out good, everything else hasnt. I dont understand, I could go without it but I really want to know why it does this now..

if its spray can clear, its becouse its a type of laqure clear (its non cataliyzed) it also as its getting sprayed absorbs any moisture in the air and thats where you get your cloudieness from, if you use it on a hot day with high humidity it will cloud up make sure its super dry outside when you use it..

Must be syko, I cant recall how it was outside the other times but yesterday the humidity was high here so. Funny thing is though its not much humidity today, fairly cool outside from how its been, and ive been going around today spraying some other things laying around and its working good. I decided to spray it on the frame again and it cleared up that white stuff, back to a good yellow color. So clear coat it is :beer
