I don't know what you all call them where you are at but I call them tweakers. I had to replace the brake pads this weekend on the 200s and when I took the wheel off this is what I was presented with... Looks nice... Previous owners work. NOT MINE!

For the record they welded the the studs into place and I cannot get the peice to to seperate from the shaft... Looks like they cut it down in size to fit the rims...

From the pictures, it looks like crap but I'm not sure why the hub wont just tap off the axle like normal. Maybe it is welded to the axle I guess. But just so you know, you dont necesarily need to remove the hub to put new brake shoes on.

Find the biggest sledgehammer you can, and pound that hub off from the back. Spray some PB Blaster on first, and maybe have someone hold some heat on it. Should come off with a little work.

Yeah I know I don't need to remove the hub to replace pads. But one day I will.. :( I will pount and see if I can get it to pop off. Just thought I would share my furry with you all :)

I have a similar problem on my big red. The hubs are welded on the axle and the brake drum is in a form I can described. Let just say the the part woith the splines are still on the axle but this is the only thing. So I need to locate an entire rear end to have rear brake.
