I just came across an old honda 90cc three wheeler. It was in pieces, with motorbike handlebars and gas tank. The coil wire was in two pieces on the ground next to the motor. There isnt that many more wires on the thing. There is a wire coming out of the contact points into the flywheel area. This wire is green with white insulation. Then out of the same area that the green wire enters behind the flywheel, comes a yellow wire that connects to? I have tried to wire it to the side of the coil, then jerry rigged the coil wire onto a spark plug, but I cant get a spark. There is a spark between the contacts, just not at the plug. I dont even know the year of the bike so I cant get a manual. Any ideas on how to proceed?

If you can get the number off the engine, we should be able to give you an idea of the year. I have a manual and can maybe print up a diagram if there isn't one already on here. You may have to find a used coil with a good spark plug wire to get the trike to run. Take pictures and post them if you can. You will need to resize your pictures down, but it is explained on the site here. You will find plenty of information on here and some parts for sale I'm sure. The old atc90s are fun, but once you get your first trike, you will want more or at least bigger and faster! Welcome to the boards.
