350X Oil Level Check

I don't have a manual for the honda 350x. I was wondering if the oil level is checked by screwing the level all the way in or just placing it back in the casing at the top of the threads.

just place it on top. dont thread it in to get a reading.

guess what..............its called a DIP stick for a reason.....lol

i never heard of a screw stick....well i might have but it had nothing to do with a motor.
