makeover on blue tri-zinger

just got this weekend for $50, it needs a piston. been sitting outside for awhile as you can see, it has the typical sun faded/ chaulked fendersthat I started to scrape with a razor blade and still have to hand sand with 1000- 1500 grit then buff with plastic polish. Then I will pull apart and get it ready to bead blast and prime/paint.

Thanks , almost done with the fenders, got the cyl. all blasted and painted. will order the piston and other parts this week. my boy has a yellow one that he ripps the lawn up with. They are pretty quick. thinking about letting him drag race it ( only 300 ft) this summer at the fair.
