Need a tune up?

I just bought an 82 honda 200 and i took it riding on saturday. It took a while to warm up which i figured it would but then after about 20 minutes of riding it would stall on me only when going down hills and seem nearly impossible to start again. It seemed as if the engine were overheating but it doesn't make sense to me why it wouldn't start back up. What could be wrong with my trike?

I am also planning on doing a tune up soon and was wondering what is involved in a full tune up on one of these ( worked on cars and trucks before but never lawnmowers or anything like this. I know they're similar though. What type of oil does it use?

First off get yourself a manual for it if you dont already have one, but as far as a tune up, get a new plug, air filter, inline fuel filter and possibly a carb rebuild kit.. Plus check all the wiring for cracks and freys. as far as oil goes, any 10-40 will work descent
