I just received some new fenders from hyperparts.com for one of my 250sx projects. I was ecstatic at the price on hyperparts and thrilled when they arrived 3days after ordering. It seems they did an awesome job packing them for shipping (I was impressed with the way they wrapped them up), but after opening them they have what appears to be some machining mistakes on both corners.
I have already emailed them and am waiting on their respnose.
Here are some pictures of the cuts on each corner of the fenders near where the mud flaps mount up.

Now I'm wondering if the reason the price was so low was because they were blemished goods. Didn't see anything on their site to indicate this.
I am just wondering if anyone's had a similar experience, or what you guys think.
I was overjoyed at the shiny red color and immediately noticed the two "cut" marks in the corners.

I guess they would be no big deal if you had known ahead of time, but if they didn't tell you before you bought them, I'd say you've got a legitimate gripe.

Well I have gotten only one set of plastics from them and had no issues. I would send them an email with the pics and just ask them about it. Be nice and just see what they say. More than likely, they just got them straight from Maier and didnt even notice the flaws....but follow up to find out.

I agree they probably had no idea, it would be hard to spot through the plastic bag they are in and the graphics on the bag are all over that area.
I have already emailed them to let them know and I simply said let me know what we can do about this.... so we shall see. Honestly I would simply be happy with something off my next purchase even, it aint the end of the world.
Thanks for the input.

I bought a set from them and also felt they were not 100%. I didn't care that much and when I asked them, they said that they are 1st quality but did give me back another 20$. I think it ended up paying either 150$ or 170$ shipped for 350x front and rear........

I would be a little upset with that too. Post back to let us know what happens.

Got an email from hyper parts on Monday after I emailed them last weekend.
They basically let me decide how I wanted to handle it and once I indicated that I wanted to return them for a new pair, they shot me an email with step by step instructions and an RMA #. They pay for shipping back damaged fenders and shipping the replacement fenders.
Class Act all the way. I will definitely be using them for my parts needs.
I had forgotten how customers were supposed to be treated, but they definitely do it right!!
