That thing is sick! Liquid cooled means it's actually an RZ over here, I dunno about in Europe, though.

The previous owner told me that the engine is an yamaha 89 YPVS RD 350. The USD from a yamaha ΤΤ 600 and the front brakes from a honda CBR 600.
The YPVS works with the batery.
Does the newer banchee engine has the same engine mounts with this one?
If yes that will be the next step...

I'm not sure if the motor mounts are the same, I know the engines share the same basic platform.

Have you taken this beast for a ride yet? what machine are the tripple clamps from? are they modified tecate tripples?

my dad used to have a atc 90 with a rd 250 motor in it, Full custom suspension. It was his dune racer. used to eat 250r's for breakfast.
That trike should be really quick I would keep the rd motor in it!

If I may make a suggestion, you need to wrap those exhuast pipes in some heat tape or heat wrap where it goes over the frame instead of inside of it. If you don't, your rear plastic is going to melt almost as soon as you start it.

That thing is supercalafreakinawsome...
From looking at the pictures;
Totaly modified down tube and engine cradle, so the engine mounts are way different to the standard KXT.
The Triple clamps are not KXT clamps.
Does it go? I bet it goes like snot on the pipe. I wouldn't put a Banshee motor in there as banshee motors don't have powervalves.
I would love to repower my 87 Tecate but, being that they are so rare, I just can't bring myself to modify the frame. Looks like a newer KX250 Donk will go in the place of the KXT donk when I have the funds.

The triples are from a tecate and have been modified.
I bought this trike for only 400euro, and my first thought was to buy it for spare parts as I already have 3 tecates.
But now that I took a closer look I'm going to keep it like this.
I posted same photos in a local forum and I have already found 2 previous owners. This trike was made the 2000 and both owners told me it was very driveable but also scarily too fast!!!
I will have my personal experience in September when I will be back from holidays.
I will post and same videos from the first ride
