Doesnt matter now.I was trying to score it for $200 bucks.But I figured since someone has way too much time on their hands.And I knew there was a Buy IT Now of $250.I retracted my bid and used the Buy It Now. Man I am BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have a NOS EMLER 1981-84 250r head For Sale... Any takers?

Anyone ever figure out where to get the piston, rings, and gaskets for this setup?

I pretty much bought it to relist it.I am going to see if I can get the rest of the kit together.Then ask an outragous price.Just to get a thread started about how :crazy: my price is!!!! :D :D

If it needs to go to a new home.I am not attatched to it....

I like that Emler head better.Plus I dont need the 300 power for my simple 250r.:lol:

well I know schmee got his brand new a few months back. he might be able to help you out if you're looking for a piston.

I actually thing it was lasleeve that he got it from.

WELL......i have one of these myself.....you got any info on it, any history, its approx. worth?
mine is used, but i believe it is still very usable.

I know as much as the board members have added.I won it off ebay.I wanted to find a DG head,but came across this one.I dont think I am going to run a 300r kit??? Still deciding???If I do.I will use the set up I have and not the new NOS jug.

Anyone know the diffs between the dg and fmf head vs stock. Heat displacement compression increases? The gold and the cut fins look totaly trick but what do they realy do...

I am not sure what the performance increase is?? But I do know that the Emler head does not fit on the NOS 300r jug.The jug arrived today.And has 7 studs not 6 like my head. I guess I will have to sell one of them?????

I also am just kidding about why it doesnt fit.I was being a wise arse!!!! I dont have a need for a super drag bike on the island.That was the biggest reason I decided to not finish the 330 Tri-Z.I would only use it at trikefest.And I havent been there in 3 years.Same with the 81 250r.A big bore is fun and all.But I like the Emler head and other small trick parts I have.

So anyone need an NOS 300r Jug?????:D

well thats a given, im pretty sure they wouldnt have sold too many if there ad read "it cools better".. im wondering if anyone knows how much faster they displace heat and how much compression is raised, there has to be an ad in some older mags that has some percentages on what they do...

it depends on how the head is domed, and how many CC the head dome is.
i am sure you could get one however you wanted.

I was on the path to being a hondlaline whore..I just felt dirty all the time..I have been getting treatment and am letting go of alot of the hondaline stuff.....I am now respecting my pussycat (the TIGERS) and am putting all the "dirty" funds from past years of indescretion into them......the pussycats are purrrrrring nicely these days.
