ever see one of these 250sx lock

I just come across it in my parts bin. I pulled it off of a 1987 250sx frame i had a few years back. its a steering lock and helmet lock. ive only owned 4 sx'x in the past and dont recall any of them haveing one of these. was it a add on part or one of the ones everyone lost the key to so they were all removed?

i figured that it was the later models that had them but my 87 sx in the garage dosent have it or even the mounting tab for it?

86 and up Bigreds had them. I don't think I have ever seen a 86 sx up close enough to recall seeing on them.
I wouldn't be surprized if the 86 and up SX's had them.

I have it on my 86 250sx but the key doesn't turn it.

I just picked up a 86 250sx for 650. and it has one.Althou i think its froze up because the key wont turn it.
