I'm running standard sprocket sizes(13/37)on my 87 T3.Has anyone tried maybe a 36 on the back or a 14 on the front?Does it give much more top end and does it smooth out the power any in the lower gears?

better try a 14 on the front. because if you put a 36 on the back you will have more damage on the chain slider. ( very rare oem part)
Nice to see some more european tecate owners:)

you would have to drop 2-3 teeth on the back to = going 1 up on the front

i don't think there are many gear options available for the tecate. where did you find that size available?

Sprocket specialists can make you a rear in just about any tooth count that's possible. Aircraft aluminum rears are around $55. Go to the website and click on Kawasaki, then find your model. easy as that. Same also applies for any other make bike or atv.
