what is the offset i need? dennis kirk had some 3.5 x 5 offset, but i'm not sure if that was only for the back. i know the fronts are a weird size. and i've also heard that an older suzuki front rim fits as well so i can broaden the search. thanks.

basically any netral offset wheel will work

this is why i used a suzuki q sport rear wheel ....its aluminium and netral offset (both sides measure the same...or close) and i liked the idea of a facory gold front wheel on my 110

what does that mean? what is a neutral offset? i saw some 2 x 3 offset when i typed in suzuki quadsport.

read post 2 again

i said it means both sides have the same offset.....2x3 would be a 5'' wheel and thats a front quad wheel, not a rear like i used

i never cared to check the spacing since its netral but its a 8'' wide wheel so it would have to be a 4x4

one more thing

the suzuki wheels are 4 on 130 witch matched my 85 110 front hub but you do need to machine out the center hole so the hub fits right....they do not go right on

ok with using an 86 suzuki LT230S quadsport search, i got these as options
http://www.rockymountainatv.com/typeDetail.do?navType=type&navTitle=Tires+and+Wheels&webTypeId=237&webCatId=8#vehicleSelect

they dont list the offset which kind of stinks, but i just want to make sure this is what i should be using for a search. they sell a 10 x 8 in addition to the 8 x 8. maybe i could go with a larger front rim and give it that sportier look. :naughty:

what do you think? am i going in the right direction?

oh wait it does say the offset once you select all the options on sizes. the ITP steelie is 3.5 x 5 which is pretty close and a 8 x 8.5 wheel

the douglas aluminums are 3 x 5 which is pretty close as well, with either an 8 x 8 or 10 x 8 wheel.

has no one else ever bought a new front rim the their old 110???

If your needing a 4 bolt front rim, a front rim off and atc 185/185s/200m/200s will work since they are the same rim. If you have the older 3 bolt pattern hub, then a front rim off an yt125/175 yamaha will work. You might have to look at a wheel manufactures website to special order the front wheel you need.

they might not list a 4x4 offset but they make them.

i used a factory 9x8 q sport rear wheel

If your needing a 4 bolt front rim, a front rim off and atc 185/185s/200m/200s will work since they are the same rim

If that's the case, I have an '81 ATC 200 rim with a tire still on it I can sell you. It's just sitting in my garage attic. If you're interested I can take pics and measurements since I will be messing around in the garage tomorrow.

Dear Peter,

Thank you for your email. I have looked into this for you and
we do have an 8x8 wheel in a 4/130 bolt pattern. However, we do not
have any in the offset you requested. The only offset we have available
in this size is 3.0 + 5.0. We do not have any wheels in a 9x8 with the
4/130 bolt pattern. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Have a great day!

Thank you,

Why not contact Douglas Wheel directly. I know they used to have one because I bought one back in the 80's. They just might be able to make one for you.

Here's the one I have. The tire size is 22x11x8 so I know it's an 8" rim, and it looks like it's 8" wide with neutral offset. It had those ring on each side too.

yeah thats a stock split wheel and your right....its a 8x8 wheel with a 4x4 offset

just because those shops dont sell that wheel (witch cant sell very good) dont mean its not made.

like was said before go direct or have a dealer order you one in. it would be nice to pick one up anywhere but after 20 years those neutral offset wheels are rare nowadays and unwanted.
