help 84 front brake

[gotballs 250r 82]

Well put a 84 front brake on today and it seems like it is draging. The front wheel turns but not freely can anybody help with this

i did the same thing on mine about 2 weeks ago. i found that the pads were sticking on the 2 slide pins. also, make sure that your caliper is free to slide back and forth slightly.

it will rub for a bit till the pads get worked in a bit if you put new pads on. make sure you piston is not sticking. that is why i had to replace my old caliper, it was just full of debris and piston pitted badly. for me beyond repair.
