I decided to go for a ride on the 110 this afternoon, so I set out walking with it for the 1/2 mile to the village and then got on it and rode it through the snickets at the back of the village, I mounted a kerb a bit fast onto the sidewalk and we bounced and hit a lamp post witht eh right side of the bike, I think I've put a bit of a bend in the handlebars and put a bit of angle on the foot peg whilst crushing my foot inbetween the post and footpeg, the lamp post was ok but my foots all bruised and a bit swollen I even had steel toe cap boots on :!:
This is the point where I should have turned around and gone home but i carried on and went further intot he village where there is a long grass strip beside the creek with houses on either side and bridges and crossings etc, I messed about in the water for a few mins and carried on up the road where there is a private lane that is black top, I got onto the straight bit and opened her up then there was this big POP and the engine died and was just chuffing along being driven by momentum, I looked down and the sprk plug was hanging out, I figured it had come loose, I took a closer look and the threads were stripped, I tried a new plug with no results and even took the washer off one but still it wouldn't stay in when I pull started it.
So I phoned for backup in the form of mom and the truck with trailer and went home, Good job I always carry a Celly phone!
Nat
