I'm replacing all the gaskets in my 200x (head gasket particularly) and was wondering what brands were any good? Any ideas?

I'm partial to OEM. If I can't get them I try to use VESRAH which in a few dozen motors, I've had very good luck with them.......

How do they fit?
Oem is always the best choice in my opinion.

OEM or Cometic. They make very high quality gaskets as well.

Really? I think Versa is ok but not that good. Mainly their head gaskets are what I don't like. The Versa kits I have bought (and it looks like that ebay kit) come with the one piece composite type head gasket wich I don't like as much as the OEM style metal gasket. The Athena kits from Bikebandit are nice, they fit as well or better then the versa kits and come with the OEM style head gasket.

This is just my personal thoughts of course, I'm no pro.

I contacted the owner before the previous owner and he said that he put vesrah gasket on it.

TheFox, I like Vesrah because they are made in Japan with very tight quality control/tolerances and are the OEM gasket supplier for many manufacturers. Which model are you talking about for the metal head gasket? All the gaskets kits I've seen come from Vesrah are identical to OEM.

To me, a gasket is good if it fits and doesnt leak.

and all the vesrah head gaskets i have seen are copper, at least for my R. and i have bought 3 gasket kits for it.......
