Can you put a yt 200 front fender on a yt175 front end?

No, the fenders mount differently.

if i drilled holes in the side of the fender would it fit in the forks? i think the 175 and the 200 front ends both run 22x11x8 tires so they might be the same width

I'm not sure if you have enough material to redrill. The 200 fender attaches underneath the top of the fender to the lower triple triple and the 175 attaches sort of on the side of the fender to the cast part of where the legs bolt into, so I'm not sure how well it will work. I'll check and see what I have for an extra front fender. Do you care if the fender is cracked or if it's ugly?
You know, I have a nos maier fender for a yt175 here if you need that.
