Anyone order parts from Power sports pro? Or have good experences with other online parts stores? I am looking for a Gearshift plate on a 86 200x and the local store said they were dis continued but I found it on this web site. I have tried Dennis Kirk and found nothing. Thanks

I have used partsfish before, and got my items, although it took a good while for them to come in. I have also ordered from cycle-parts, and they took a good while to deliver. My orders from service honda have come in somewhat quicker. I suggest using partsfish for the part number like most people here do, and then actually buying the part from service honda, or western honda, or one of the other cheaper oem places I have heard mentioned.

where do you find the part number on parts fish. I went there and couldnt find the number. I also checked common parts like brake pads and it didnt show any part numbers. All it says is Genuine OEM.

the parts number is hidden in the address bar at the top...you will have to click into the box...and back the cursor up till you can read it...after the ISBN = then either copy and paste it. or write it down.

example:

I personally would buy an aftermarket high end brake pad. I bought a parts unlimited one for my bike, and went through it in one weekend at haspin, all the way through the backing plate. If you are going to ride it much, get some braking brand metallic sintered pads, or something equivalent.

I placed all my last orders at www.cycle-parts.com.
They always had the best prices and shipped quiet fast.
If you get the part #s at partsfish/powersportspro you can
get online prices from cycle-parts.
Hope this helps a little

I'd stick with powersportspro, was going to order a bunch of parts for 85 200x and 84 200s and found cycleparts.com was more expensive on every part on my list, servicehonda is the cheapest of the group though (by a LOT)
