I went to rausch creek today, had my atc250r(hre frame), lsr crf450r hybrid and dirtbike. I didn't ride a powerfull trike for almost a year before today. Got on it and went off, everything came right back to me. I was doing all the jumps and hanging/passing the quad guys very quickly. Lots of very interested people , didn't get any "aren't those illegal", "dangerous", "deathtraps", just postive comments. Like, "I haven't seen one of those on a mx track in 20 years", "you really know how to ride that thing", and another guy who said "I pulled on the track when I saw you, to see what that thing can do and I couldn't keep up with you". Very good feeling.
Unfortunity bad happened, somehow the throttle stuck open in the air, I landed from the jump and fell off the back of the trike. And watched it tummble twice, it landed on all three wheels. I bent the grab bar, scratched plastic and the worst...bent the forks. Frame is still straight, sub-frame not bent. Hre's workmanship on how tough this frame is paided off. Get a set of forks done(got a few that need work) and get it back together, incase I bent some other front end stuff, I have extra's. The important thing is that I walked away w/ some buises, but nothing more.
I rode my quad the rest of the day, missed my trike.

Is it still stupid money to get in there? I just can't swallow $65.

Unfortunity it, it is. Yesterday was $50. I pay it when I go, as I don't hve anywhere to legally ride my atv's, except for tues/friday night and so often at my friends house. The tues/frid place doesn't allow trikes. I go there about every month. I do mostly ride my dirtbikes, I have lots of legal and free places to ride them.

Get up and walk away, thats what I like to hear! What caused your throttle to stay wide open?

throttle cable was slightly pinched and twist throttle tube had some crud in it to cause it not to spring back. A combination of the both. Hey, turboCouple, didn't I meet you before at njorvp. There was a guy there that had almost exactly the same tigers that you have. I think he had 1 -500, 2-250, 2-200, 1- t-4, lots of spare parts and a nice collection of 83-89 honda trikes/quads?? He also claimed to have alot of mugen parts, 300 and 360 top end, short track kit, mugen suspension, speedo kits, tach kits, fender mud guards, braces and other stuff. He bought out a tiger dealer in PA and a honda dealer sometime around there too, both in the early 90's, late 80's. This guy had a 400ex, 300ex and more he didn't talk about much. I seen the t-4, 200's and I beleive a 250 tiger.

you mean my hybrid quad? Or my trike with the bent grab bar and bent forks?? I know some people there took pictures of me riding, maybe some will show up on some other forums. As for the tigers I saw, I really wish I had taken pictures of them. I seen them a few other times, never had a camera with me.
