Fixed the brakes. oiled everything since it prob wasnt for a while. attempted to adjust the valves but my feeler gauges were too big. Rode wheelies for a while washed it and put it away

well, it all started out on Sunday, pulled them out of storage, changed oils, pulled carbs, cleaned out, pressure washed, swapped out the paddles for stocks on the R and the mighty trail pros for the 110. got everything running great, then get the bombshell text from my brother, "I am playing this weekend" aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

You see, my little brother is on full scholarship for san Jose state, he is on the NFL watch list, Remington lineman of the year trophy list, and his senior year. Last game of his college career! He had been hurt, was told he was done for the season, well...... He is very relentless, and he got better for the last game.

SO.....................My riding trip plans have been cancelled and I will be on my way to see his game. Wish us luck!

I picked up a new chain and sprockets from a local place for my 200m.
$35 for the front (I've got a 200e motor, so fancy, exspensive, sprocket)
$42 for the rear
$30 for a non O-ring chain

$120 total with taxes.

I think it's oem, but I not sure. The Honda 200e's take a different front sprocket because of the Hi/low range, so there much more exspensive.

I finished putting the new chain and sprockets on my 200m with a 200e motor. It is a pain in the rear to change the front sprocket on a 200e.

Drove down to Lake Michigan whipped some donuts in the sand, drove down to a little lake and drove in some small dunes near it. Drove down the trail, realized it might be too flooded and its hunting season so I shouldn't be there, went down the fireroad to a friends house and showed off my new 200X. Drove back home, found a mud hole, flung some mud, called it good, I was freezing, so I went home.

took my 200s on a ride with some friends.. my carb came loose from the intake and i stacked it up going down a hillclimb i didnt make.. My girlfriend gave me a funny look when I came home with ohtsu tire prints on my sweatshirt. It was my first real ride on the 200s and my friends first ride on a trike ever aboard his new 200e. it was a good day!!

Did some front and rear sprocket changes on my 200x put new inline fuel filter in got the brakes working cleaned her up put some premium gas in. went to friends house road the trails did some 1/4mile runs cleared out more over growth for our new trail system. Did some more 1/4 runs against the blaster but I was the one doing the blasting. Until the 400 came whizzing by. Used it to grab some more of those canned beverages:beer from the house did some more riding in the dark with the moon bright as hell. Then called it a nite:TrikesOwn

Atc450r - Washed it, changed the oil(granny one engine), cleaned the filter, put it at TDC, lubed the chain, seafoam on the gas, and polished everything.
250r - washed it, changed oil, cleaned filter and polished everything.

I spent the weekend turning wrenches with my daughter, we got the 110 just about ready for the dunes. Adapted a 200x front tire and cleaned it up a bit. We have some carb issue now, but my son was stoked! He is going to be the coolest 9yr old on a 110 cleaning up the dunes :p

R&R-ed the carb I bought from Dr. ATC to put it on my 110, then found out it would need some mods, not to mention it is going to be hell hard to adjust the air/fuel mixture. Sits against the frame. But it should be much better than the one I have now, we'll see tomorrow. Just modded, and installed.

I put in a new pull starter rope and brakes on the 83 ATC70...
Then I changed the fork oil in my 85 R, and dropped in some new Progressive springs and lowered the front about 1/2 inch.

i bought a 83 bigred a few weeks ago.It was also painted black.I used a steam cleaner and blew all the paint off the plastic..it looks great, The tank had been painted so many times i had to sand and re paint.

Changed the oil and filter on the SX.
Installed my PRM rear grab bar(early Xmas gift).
Tested the rear grab bar already, was doing donuts on the pavement and the tires hooked up and planted it straight up.
Loaded up and went riding at the old mans farm and almost hit a 6 point buck laying down covered by about 5" of snow:eek:
More riding tomorrow, we just got about 10"+ so we should have about a good week of snow riding.:drool:

Pulled the clutch cover off, for the 4th time & found this! I put it back together & this time I put the spacer ring(goes in place of the 3rd fiber, believe it!) in the correct spot. Got it back together & put air in the one Trail-Pro that's leaking & took 'er for a rip!

Rode the big red for about 5 hrs. The poor 350x didnt even come out of the shed. Didnt even try and start her. Was riding trails and fields with my wife(03 Bayou), my son(2000 trx90), and the neighbors son(my old 85 atc110). It was a blast.

Had to dig a little to find this thread. I went and got the YT125 running in two pulls after sitting for 2 months. super happy about that one. Pulled out my YT175 and forgot about the choke cable working only half the time. Got it running after an hour, warmed her up and went for a spin. I was cruising along the frozen river and whipped her around and blew the bead on one of my tires. thank god i had a buddy with me, he went back and got my spare on the parts trike. It was still fun as heck though, and in the end it was a trailpro that saved the day...... LMFAO

Just finished with the final touches on the 84R swap 85R front end. Went and got 20 weight PJ fork oil and tried without the spacers, was better then before but not good enough so I put in 1.5" spacers, seems alot better, need to take it for a ride, to see if I need 2" spacers or not.

I cleaned up the bore on my T-3 builder motor.
looked at the 200 Custom.
non trike related, I got a Suzuki TS185 running that was thrown in a ditch to die. I ripped the motor out and checked it out, put in a clutch, threw in the motor, fired right up. Fun to ride around with no brakes and a comp release with no cable, use the gearbox as the brakes. The trans is boned though, it has 3 neutral spots, 1 normal, 1 between 3rd and 4th, and the last between 4th and 5th. its a scraptharsher, but it was free.

Also, I was running rich on my main and it wouldn't take long for the engine to get heat soaked at a stop and one of the radiators would emit some smoke .. ??? Went over Dirtcrashers house with the X, Took the ST off, and all apart. Much to our suprise it came all apart very easy. The Fiberglass packing was a little shot, he advised me to get some new stuff for it..I also removed a few disks to quiet it down a tad and runs like a champ.:D:D

I ditched the Keihin PaJama 38 carb I had dialed in on my 86R and went back to the Keihin Air-Striker 38. This carb has far better throttle response. At least I definitively know now, rather than going by here-say. So if you're considering that Keihin Air-striker 38 upgrade for your 85-86 250R, I say it's money well spent. There is no better carb for it.

Brought back the 200s and the girlfriend's 4wheeler from Core Banks in the Cape Lookout National Seashore. If you ever get a chance you need to visit this island. 31 miles of undeveloped beach. Great scenery and great riding. The 200s dusted her 4wheeler. I dont know if it was the extra weight of the four wheeler, but I have 75 pounds on her, or the aggressive tread tires, but that quad sucked in the soft sand.

Wow this is a old thread ,well,I cleaned up my 1987 200X today, replaced a new NOS seat, light switch. hand grips and caps, new front tire ohtsu original, rear grab bar , entire tail light assembly with new brackets. This bike is already nice I'm just makng it better, lots of fun.
