yamaha 125 helppppppp

i have a 125 tri moto and it runs but i put it in first and cant get it to move far at all any help would be great it will pull me in first but i put it in 2nd and it boggs down and wont hardly pull:confused: : and it has a oil cap in one side do i need to fill that with oil or what is that does anyone know???

Get a manual and rebuild the carb.

the oil cap is where you fill the trans oil at. there should be a check level bolt lower on the same side of the engine. the guy that posted above me is right "get a manual", this will help alot with any repairs. as far as the other ?'s, kinda vauge with the info.. maybe it needs rebuilt? maybe the clutch is bad or needing some adjustment? maybe the carb needs rebuilt? maybe the air filter is plugged? maybe the brakes are locking up? maybe the baffle in that goofy old pipe is clogged up? maybe you got some ignition issues? again not enough info to diagnose, maybe something here will help.

so what do i need to put in it it a twist cap ?? ok this is what is going on with the trike i can crank it and it revs up fine . i get on it and put it in first grear and it will rid kinda slow and it starts to pick up speed .when i put it in to 2nd gear it starts to bogg down and wont hardly run .so i put it in 1st and still the same thing ?? do you thing im not getting any gas or not mixxing my oil/gas mix right ? there is nothing in that spot where the cap is that yall said is for trans oil can that be what it is ?

we recently had a 125 and it would start fine but when i got on,200lbs and rode in first gear it would pull slowly then shift to2nd and it would dog big time.ended up needing a rebuild.do a compression test.
