Hey guys, 200x_newbie new to the forums here. First off, I want to say hello to everyone here and am glad that there are still people interested in 3 wheels.

I am in no way mechanically inclined, and probably never will be, but I am still trying to get my all-stock '86 200x running after retrieving it back from a neighbor after 2 years of sitting in the rain. I looked it over and noticed that all lines coming from the carb are not hooked to anything. I know one runs to the gas tank on/off valve, and believe that one is an overflow, but I came here to get some information on exactly which is which. A diagram would be helpful (I searched for hours and came up with nothing on the web), or any pics that could help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, and apoligize for my ignorance in mechanics. :P

your small line off the carb is the vent it will be on the side of the carb, best bet is to run it up under the tank so that water won't get in it while riding

There should be an inlet from the tank, an overflow, and a drain hose for emptying the bowl.

From the '85 manual: The one off the bottom is the bowl drain. It needs to go up above the fuel level or fuel will come out. The vent comes out of the side. The fuel inlet points up and it's towards the back.

If it's been out in the rain for two years, you need to drain the fuel and derust the inside of the tank. Look in there with a flashlight. :shudder: You'll probably need to at least clean and probably rebuild the carb to get it running. Change the oil too.

Looks like the lines are figured out. Drain all the gas, clean the carb well, but I would recommend getting a carb kit from it, there only about 15$ or so, and clean the tank out, then Kreem it, you can get Kreem through Denniskirk ( www.denniskirk.com ) Good stuff, seals up the tank and prevents rust.
