When I try to put my Big Red 200 in reverse, it dies as if I turned the key off. Anyone have an idea what the deal is?

The reverse worked when I got it. Now it just dies. I have adjusted the idle and that didn't work. I will start tracing wires later on this week when I get some time. Thanks.

there is a starter inhabitor on the left side while siting on the bike. it should be right next to the back left side of the battery box. There is a way to buypass it but i cannot remember what wires you have to jump. a wiring diagram would help ya out a bit .

I unhooked the wire on the reverse switch and I now have reverse. Now I have to figure out if I have a short or if the switch is out.
