Wheelie Bar: If someone has any idea as to where I can get one or maybe even how I can make one. I'm looking for a wheelie bar for my 250SX. I've seen many videos out there that show these guys doing some extreme wheelies and they have a wheelie bar installed on their trike. Some time ago I had seen some for sale on Ebay but they were outrageously priced. Were talking $100 and up! Does anyone have one or know how I can make one? I just think that it would be something cool to have and be able to do. Thanks for any and all help.

Honestly learn how to ride a wheelie and people will think your cool. If I saw someone riding a wheelie with a bar I'd laugh and go pass them on the two back wheels with out a wheelie bar.
If you need to, put a rack on the SX then you will just end up on the rack rather than your but.
It's all about the throttle and the rear brake. Oh yeah and practice.

How about making a rear grab bar made out of steel so it holds up better and doesn't cost much. Then, when you feel comfortable doing wheelies, you can remove it and install a nice one. You can make it a little longer so it scrapes the ground before you tip backwards.

That's not a bad idea. It's not that I can't do them. Just not as well as I would like to. Also, just thought it would be somewhat fun I guess. I'll have to try it. I'm not as daring as I would like to be. At least, not yet.

By the way, Clutchcargo, you're the one in LaGrange Park, right?

Yeah, I'm right down the street. If you want a hand with the grab bar, let me know. Maybe we can fab something up.
