Talked to the guy before he put it on ebay and he wanted 300. and i didn't want to pay that so i told him i would keep my eye on it and got it for 150. I love how cheap 70's are! Have three of them now! i have $310 total in all three combined!:w00t: in pics its missing side cover and pull starter but he has them.

Awesome. About 2 months ago I picked up my first one. It's an 83, decent shape, some rust on wheels, torn seat but no cracks in plastic. I can't keep it running though, got it for $80.
Then about 3 weeks later I picked up a really nice 1984 that was missing the gas tank. I put the tank from my 83 on it. This thing is nice and runs great, even has the sticker on the back of the rear fenders. I paid $180 for that one. THE PARKING BRAKE EVEN WORKS! No cracks in platic and it already has a new seat cover. I'd like to buy a cover for an 85 (just like yours). Recover my torn 1983 seat then just put that one on my 84. I like the blue seat with 70 on the side.

i agree i just cant seem to find deals around here everyone wants 500$ and up for garbage and dont even wanna negotiate! hell i found a perfect one for $1200 but who wants a perfect 70 not I :wondering

I feel the same way i would rather buy a cheap beater and fix it up

here is a pic of my other two the one in the front i payed 100 for have a front fender for it but never put it on. and the one in the back i got for 60! might not look the best but it runs amazing! for a stock 70 :lol:

Well picked it up today! didn't work on it though because it was snowing and cold out.

I love the sticker on the front of it :lol: (sorry bad picture)

Collecting 70's now? Lookin good.

Man that R is lookin good too, is she all back together.

there were two out in the shop, now there are 4 complete and two pieces....they just keep growing.
