I just finished building the front ski for my BR250.

I got a couple off a junker snow machine and welded them together, built a cradle for the tire. I made it so the front tie down will use the winch cable and 2 springs for tension, and I'll use ratchet straps for the rear with springs (not shown in pic) . I tied the skis on the trike itself, not the tire, so that it will not try to flip the ski over if it digs in, but the springs will let it flex and pivot, and the suspension will still work some.

Think it'll work?

Looks good, lets us know if it works. I may want one for my 200.

I'd say that would work good. a lower full length skid palete that was dropped down from the frame(for snow only) may work like a large ski maybe help the bike float over the snow

I agree, good work. I might do something like that on my 110.

I can't remeber who said it, but one other member said a Krazy Karpet worked pretty good for that. I might try it if I can find a KK, couldn't find one last year...

I'm not expecting snowmobile performance, but it should be fun anyway.
