Thinking of buying a 125m

I'm thinking of getting a 125m. What years did they make them? Did they all have reverse and electric start?

84-85 laydown style motor. Hi/low range, no reverse, electric start. These are really common and easy to get parts for. 86-87 upright style motor, electric start, reverse but no hi/low. These are a lot more difficult to get parts for but are a night and day difference from the earlier generation.

i have a 1985 trx 125 same engine as the 125m, laydown style has e-start and reverse, and a super low gear and 4 up.

I will try to get you the 86-87 125 model if you can find one. It will have the E start and reverse, which is very nice to have.
