Hello all,

just wanting some feed back,

I have been on the lookout for an good 84 Honda Big Red for some time now.

price range is around $1000 for what I can afford/want to spend I am wondering if I am in the correct ball park on this?

I have a 84 Honda 200 that is in ok condition nothing great and would offer that up as a partial trade and such. Pic of my 84 200

any way came across this 84 big red on ebay,

offered up my 84 200 and $600 in cash I make the 2 hour trip to get it or I'll give $800 cash and he'll bring it to me. Its located 150 Miles from where I live.

I got a flat no.

I have also found a Big Red about an hour away for $1000 cash in hand and am thinking I'll go that direction but I need to sell my 84 200 first as I don't have room to store booth under a roof.

anyway thanks for your thought's.

sublime out.

I got my 84 200 for free. It either needs a CDI box or stator and the front shocks are shot. It runs, but for no longer than 30 secs. I've been looking down here and the average price for one in decent shape is about $600. I think a show room ready one like the one on ebay is worth $1500 but not much more than that. Good luck in your search. I hope you find one soon. The one I got use to be my friends and it was a blast to ride when it was running.

Hey Sublime..... (Mopar color?, lol  ) Not sure about your neck of the woods, but around here $1000 should get you an extremely nice BR. We have an 84 here that is pretty much the work horse around the house and it is bullet proof. I think I paid about 400 for it a couple years ago...... good shape but far from perfect. Keep looking, with the way the economy is you should do fine. Seems like the prices are down on pretty much everything about now.
