Interchangeable axle???

My 83 250R has a slight bend in the axle making it a wobbly mess sometimes. I wanted to try and find another one but the search is not producing any results. Anybody have an axle for an 83 or does any other year/model use the same one? any help is appreciated.

Well since the older R axles will fit in the 200xs, then a 200x axle should work fine. I read on here that some year R axles will fit a First generation 200x, and the newer R's fit the 86 200x. But I have a 1984 200x axle on my 86, so all the 200x axle should work, but you may need spacers between the bearings.

I have an 84 250R axle. I'll have to check it out. I'm pretty sure it's straight, I just need to chase the threads on one end. They're boogered up just a little. I should be able to fix them. PM me if interested.

i have a couple 83r axles but check with smvorndran first man. does anyone know if a 300 or 400ex axle would work in a 83? how bout swingarm? im wanting something newer in my 83 so i dont have to worry about parts
