Nerf Bars for 250sx

Does anyone still make nerf bars for ATCs....I would really like a set...Would be willing to buy a set off somebody....or does anyone know of any atv nerfs that would work with a little modding....I have a 1985 honda 250sx

Well, i was looking through the section on 3WW homepage called "Reader's Rigs" one day and seen a trike with nerf bars. They kinda looked homemade but i wasn't sure. As for buying a set and fitting them onto your trike, there's really not much to nerf bars. As long as they fit on the side of your bike and you can still turn your front wheel, im sure you can clamp it onto the frame of your bike somehow, using other tubing and whatnot, thats all i can see. id say your gonna have to be creative with that.

THE closest off the shelf nerf bar that will work on most trikes is the yamaha blaster nerfs, as the cheaper ones I have made fit on anything from tri-z's to my 85 250R to 200x's with little modification.

thats your best bet or you can go as far as I did and have a really nice quad nerf bars cut/rewelded and completly moddified to work on a trike

Those are really nice...so blasters are the closes fit....maybe I will see if I can find a set and make them work

WELL just the way the STEEL blaster nerf bars are made makes them the best adaptable nerf for a trike. They wont fit perfectly but a bit of modding will get them on there

plus steel ones pop up on ebay all the time cheap, the last set I scored for like $10+shipping

also warrior nerfs are near the same
so that would make the banshee near the same as well I guess

I doubt it, very few have nerfs on any trike, most being 250R's , I say bite the bullet and take one for the team!

i got some off a 350 warrior that i will be soon making fit on my 84 250r, it will be a while, but i will post some pics!

Well i will find a set of 4 wheeler nerfs I like and make them work....I will keep you posted...Kinda cold up here though so might take a while....I dont really have a garage to work in....

Do a search here in Trikesylvania- there's a couple guys who have them on SX's & BigReds. I think Hondaline made them for the SX & BR, but there is a company out there that used to make foot guards & STILL make "brush" guards(Barkbusters) for the handlebars. I think I saw 'em last in a JC whitney catalog & they also are online. I want to say CMP?, or KMP?.

I am working on it...I was hoping for some insperation... I am looking at a set of Blaster nerfs on ebay....I guess I will have to bite the bullet and do it....The ones syko has one his 250R are what I was hoping someone already did on a 250sx.....thats the look I am goin for....If anyone else has any pics feel free to post......
