A few more 200X questions.

Alright I changed the oil in my X this evening, and now it smokes much less. I also adjusted my cam chain and it got noisier. Does that mean my chain is wiped, or is my adjuster malfunctioning? Am I doing it wrong? I read how to do it in a magazine article I found on this site I believe. Also is there any reason why a 250SX headlight wouldn't work on a 200X? My X has an SX headlight on it and it's really dim. Thanks.

To adjust the chain start the engine, loosen the small bolt on the tensioner, tighten the bolt aand you are done
As for the light, it could be the wrong watt bulb, miss wired, or the lighting coil is bad.
Do a search on here for the service manaul thread and download one.
