i always use fed ex, or at least the only time i shipped a rear fender it was fed ex.
but i use them for everything, u dont have to wrap it, but put in a sturdy box and fill up all the room, always get insurance for a high dollar part like that. i don't like ups, i use them at work one time i sent something to california and ups lost it, found it a month later in west virginia. also i live in michigan so it went completely the wrong way.

I'm with gravelyman on this one....USPS is the cheapest way to go.
When I ordered a new set from Hyperparts they used USPS. They have these foam sheets (kinda like the size of fabric softener sheets for your dryer), and they wrapped up all the corners and other areas that may be impacted in shipping and then shrink wrapped the whole thing! Best way to go IMO.

Mine arrived wrapped in lot's and lot's of bubble wrap. No problems - not a crack!
