I have an 'exhause leak' but it is where the exhaust pipe inserts into the muffler end.

There are 4 little knotches, and the exhaust is coming out of that, like there is supposed to be a bushing or something, but can i just weld up the holes so the exhaust doesn't leak out anymore?

after that the thing will pur.

There is a clamp affair that goes over those little notches. The OEM honda one is no longer available but your dealer should be able to get one that clamps with two bolts which is much better. You can try welding it but im not so sure of your success....

is there a bushing that goes around the nipple that inserts into the muffler?
Because if i put the clamp back further, it will bend the pipe, because the the clamp wont be over the shoulder of the exhaust pipe.

Thanks,

Justin

There is a copper collar/washer that goes over the head pipe to seal the joint.

I put the copper collar behind the part of the exhaust pipe that fits into the hole in the top end, i didn't know it when in/on the joint of the muffler and ehaust pipe.

Can someone find/put a link of some schematics for the exhaust system, i tried bike bandit and my manual and couldn't find ne.

Thanks,

Justin

you can use some high temp rtv and a clamp to help seal it. it's a crappy way to od it, but if your in a rut, it works till you find better.

I ordered the part from hyperparts.com
Its only listed under the 200x for some reason.
I honestly haven't mounted it yet so I hope its the right one. Sure looks like it will work.
(The copper ring goes between the pipe and manifold like you described)
