With sand blasting or not?

I had all the metal on my Tri-Z done (except wheels and axle) a couple years ago, with blasting and powder it was just over $300.

It all depends on who is in your area to do it. Get in the phone book and start calling around. Call the sand blasting places too, chances are they know a powdercoater.

I just quoted a ATC 250R frame blasted and powder coated: $150 Most pro shops run over $300 (in my area anyhow). I'll do any frame like that for $150 for the members here.:beer -Andy

150$ is very reasonable :D

When I built the 86 200X, they wanted 65$ an hour to blast, 1 hour minimum and 200$ to powder coat.

Frame, swinger, pegs, brackets and skid plates cost me 300$. That included prep and powder.

That was the cheapest I could find. Very pleased with the results.

$275 for all my PC. Well worth it imo. Ask to see their processes to make sure they are ligitimate (i.e, oven temps, guns, cure time etc.). Had some bad experiences with a few who did it out of their garage...and would not stand behind their work.
