Does anyone have any suggestions on an easy way of doing this?? I don't have one of those electric knifes and I am trying to shape an old seat I bought.
Thanks in advance..

An electric carving knife does work the best for the basic seat shape carving and then an electric grinding wheel is nice for the finer smoothing of the rough shape. No other way I've tried works better.
