I have a 1994 Honda XR 200 and I'm thinking about upgrading the carb and am wondering what size carb should I use it a stock motor and I would like to use the originol airbox I can get a 28mm flat slide of a yz 80 but I'm not sure if it will work because it came off of a 2 stroke any suggestions would help thanks

i dont think it will work, why dont you just change the jets in your old one, and upgrade your pipe instead

Ive got a 200x with a 30mm mikuni on it. It works quite well. The 28mm flat slide would probably be the way to go though. Either way your probably going to have to do some work to get it to fit the factory air boot. most any carb your going to find will have to have the rubber mount with the hose clamp to mount it instead of the hard plastic/alluminum intake like the xr has on it. The rubber mount and flatslide will be shorter over all than the stock set up, wich is where the problem is.
