Need Help with engine bogging past 1/2 throttle

hey guys, i got a tri moto 125 2 stroke yester day, it starts idles, but when it gets past 1/2 throttle it bogs severly and cuts out, also sometimes when i was riding it, it would be so weak it would barely move in 1st

"bogging" down usually mean its a fuel delivery problem especialy if it idles fine.

Would check to see if your airfilter is clean and unrestricted also, but you probably have a mismatched main jet. Does it smoke a lot?

ok any suggestions on what to do to fix it? my friend suggested it was a clogged jet?

tried it without an air filter and still no improvment doesnt smoke too much i guess it was really rich before but i leaned it out

I did this .... started it and pulled the throdlle til just before it starts to bogg and sprayed in the old carb cleaner, seems to be working so far i'll let you know tomorrow



OH and I put inline fuel filters on

Well to tell the truth I used Spray Gun cleaner but I dont recommend it to anyone I was just lucky .

Carb cleaner, ether (starting fluid), or gas work well as a cleaning agent. Clean your carb and bowl, then blow the jets out with compressed air. Let us know if that helped.
