A few questions about dx/dr's

Hello,
I have a few questions

I want to know how good of gas milage you get, because my friend has a 200 and he burns 2.00 in gas and I burn 4.00... is that wrong because I think it is.

Also would timing have anything to do with the gas milage?
I think my timing is off but am not sure how to check/set it.
Anyone got any detailed pics? or just explain.

i get great milage... i only burn a 2/3 tank when a 185 i ride with will burn a full tank..... it could be timing but i doubt. most likely jetting... take off the top cam cover, and there is a big black flat screw on the crank, near the pull starter. unscrew it, and aling the t in the hole with the mark on the cam gear with the mark on the head... you may have to rotate the crank 360 in order to get it to line up, since the cam spins 1/2 as much as the crank. if it never lines up, change it...

you should get the same or a little less milage than the 200 if it is a yamaha 200
