Anyone know what the best frame to run for a 250R is? i want to switch to a aftermarket but the only ones available are CT and LS at least that i can find. Anyone know of any other sites that have them?

''best'' isn't really the right word since they all are 100% better then stock.

some had thin wall tubeing (mostly TT frames) and some were tank like. are you looking for new or used?

HRE built my frame and the nice thing about HRE is that he will build what you want.....like thicker wall tubeing in key areas, different suspension, ect

as far as used i cant really think of any that are bad since thay are all strong but i do remember the early JP frame not lasting as long as the others.

Leager's, or the LOBO offered by Roll are better than LoneStar. Not that LSR frames are bad...I'm sure things have changed from their early yrs. This is a 10yr old opinion based on early production aftermarket frames and my experances.

I think just about everyone will still make an aftermarket frame if you have the cash. I happen to think that the Laeger and Walsh frames are the best...I've heard from more then one person the Lobo chassis arent all their cracked up to be, but everyones got opinions ya know.

his site is in my sig, i was there last night and ask him what the going price is on a frame but this is a loaded question since every frame is different, but he said around $2500 is a safe bet.

Call them, they'll still do 250R stuff. Frames, swingarms, a-arms, stems, whatever. Tell em I sent ya.

That website linked above is for a European importer. www.walshrc.com is their main site.
