I cant remember what cable I used, weither it was a 250r cable, or an 86 Z cable. Mines tore up and I need a new one.
Im running a 39pwk, and a moose racing thumb throttle.
Anybody want to shine some light on this for me?
Thanks.

Jeff your no fun! I was thinkin it was a water pumper cable. But that does help, Im pretty sure those cables are the same as the 85-86, just longer.

Is there a difference between the 85, and 86 cables (250r)? I just got an 86 cable in the mail, and it doesent have the threaded end for the carb that I was anticipating.
I suppose my next move is the 83, but it would be nice if someone could be sure. This trial and error is no fun on my wallet.

No need for pics, I think it was just a mistake when ordering. I know the carbs on the 85-86 R's are a little different, just didnt think that different.

Overnite charges here we come!lmao
Anyways, thank you for the speedy response, and pics.
Now back to the garage to get the rest of the bike done. Just got the motor in, did some super secret portwork to it that should REALLY wake er up :naughty:
Oh and Ive run the clutchbasket since TF with some SEVERE beating, NO loss of anodizing from the clutch disks. Gonna do a writeup with the pics we took, the clutch basket has performed great! And thats with a LOAD of high RPM clutch Drops with my wheelie bar, no wear at all.
Anyways........

RDZ racing... They make them for the Shee's. These are done so nicely. I heard rumor that Sprock would be making these for PWK's. He has done them for the lectrons as well. These are high flow float bowls. So when you stab she doesn't starve.

Cool deal, I will wait to see if Cory is gonna do some. I would rather patronize someone from the site, and Cory does awesome work from what I have seen and heard. Any idea if the bowls on the 38's and 39's are the same?
