Here is my new look for my 1982 atc 250r. I got this bike through a trade for my 1983 atc 250r. It had a blown top end and has not been riped apart befor. I decided to paint it almost like the original color scheme. It looks like it has a 350x seat and 3 bolt hubs from a 1981 atc 250r. But the front hub has disk brakes? I know I have work to do to the tank and I need my old renthal handle bars back. What do you guys use other then the oem head light? I was thinking of getting a 250sx head light for it.

I would have not advised that you paint the rear brake rotor not a good idea. but lookin good man. should have mine done in the next few weeks.

Why not a good idea? The paint wears off immediately leaving a rotor that's silver and colored around the edges...

That and I do not have the rear brake assembly. And when I do get one you just have to scuff the paint off.

I did once about 5 years back not thinking and had it gum up my brake pads. may be a different story for you though.

Hahahah Man you just need to scuff the paint off when you put brakes on. Is that the disk for the front? It looks quite smaller compared to the back.
I would not mind at all to be a feature on airfooler.com I paint all my disks. It brings them to life with the holes being colored after I have brakes. Any good mods?

So what other kind of mods are there? I am thinking of getting a set of 300 ex hubs. Just do not know what to do with the lights, rear brakes and front end.
Something about a carb mod?

hi great trike but you have a 81 with a 82 rear end... its going to make a differance when you try and put the rear brakes on since the 81 and 82 frames are differant

Actually the frame is an 82 with god knows what is on it. It has the mount for the master cylinder on the right of the bike.
