valve settings 185s

I have an 82 honda atc 185s , and was wondering what to set the valve clearances at , they sound a bit noisy , by the way I am new to this forum and look forward to spending some time here , I also have a question about my kid's atc70 , will a carb from a 125m give it a little more power .
