the plastic fuel float in my stock 84 200x carb broke right in the middle. i know im best buying a new one but will some type of krasyglue will hold it together for a while? or will the gas soften it up? i wanted to get the x running so i can ride until i get a new float, any sugestions?

J-b weld perhaps, I think glues would just be eaten right up by the gas. Your better off just gettin a new float though, they arent that expensive.

Just wait for the new one you dont want the carb getting clogged by anything you use to fix it. Alex

Try gluing something together with epoxy and put that in a glass of gasoline after it dries and see if that messes up the epoxy.

jb weld wont hold nor will glue, your best bet is to melt it or replace it.
