I am planning on taking my family on a summer vacation this year. I would like to go somewhere that has ATV riding. Someone told me of a mountain in Arkansas that had a wide open trail riding area. I can't remember the name of it. I would like somewhere that has some sort of lodging, fishing, and trail riding. Does anyone know of a place like this in existance? I am in Oklahoma. Would like to stay in this area or the surrounding states. I can either take my own quads or rent some.

I've heard Windrock atv is atv paradise. I have never personally been there, but i've run into a few people who have. Everyone seems to say the same thing.....amazing. It's definately on my list of things to do.

It looks pretty cool. I did a google search and found the site. www.windrockpark.com . Eastern Tenn. is a pretty big drive from me. I am going to look more into it though.

I've always thought we as members should have a section decated to travel tips and locations. Pimp your favorite spot, bed and breakfast, campground. Write ups on trails from members who ride. I've traveled to PA and West V so not to detour your thread I just like the idea of a places to go TOPIC.

I totally agree with that idea. Maybe it can be put in Trikefest planning section or something.
I haven't ridden in Pa. how is it. What trail system do you recommend?
I have ridden Hatfield and McCoy trails in Wv. and it's absolutely my favorite. Wayne National Forest trail system in Ohio is a great place and I frequent it the most. Perry state park in Oh. is a nice place to ride. Black Mtn. Ky. is a cool place to ride. Maumee State forest here in northwest Ohio is absolutely the worst place I have ever been. It's only 15 minutes from my house and I don't even go there. It's at least 3 hours drive for me to go riding anything worthwhile.Haspin acres is ok for trikefest but I went there last year for Memorial day weekend and I wont go back there unless it's trikefest. I plan on trying Rose City Mi. in the spring.

I've been to Windrock and yes I can say it is the best place I have ever been riding at. There is fun for everyone, and the trails go on forever. I am going there next week with the bigred for the first time. I usually take the trx 300 4x4 but I sold that and bought the bigred. If anyone wants to go its a blast!!!

The place in Arkansas you are talking about is probably Wolf Pen Gap. It is near Mena. Jacob's ATV has a write up on it. The wife and I plan to go sometime soon. We had a trip planned, then found out she was 8 weeks pregnant. Most of the parks around east TX and north Louisiana are for mud/deep-water riding with limited trails that are trike friendly. My ultimate goal is to make it out to one of the coasts for sand dunes.

It's kind of a haul, but if you like any outdoor activities at all, you need to go to Moab. Atv's are allowed on all the jeep trails and unpaved roads.

Hi all. Up here in Canada, just north of the Washington border, in the Province of BC. There are the following towns, all within 2 hours of each other: Osoyoos, Oliver, Penticton, Kelowna. Google them and look at the surrounding areas, it amazing. You will see trails leading off from everywhere, mostly heading out East and West (if you are looking). I will get together with a few buddies get on Google Maps and post some links to a lot of great riding. There is a few Trike riders here already and and the momentum is building. Maybe plan a nice weekend ride up here next year? Be cool everyone.
