Not this year - we usually go ALL OUT on new years eve - huge drunken party out in our shed. But this year I'll probably have a beer or two at most since the wife is very far along with our pregnancy now.

Drink of choice - maximum ice 7.1% beer or crown royal and coke.

Hmm, we usually have a good time. Our New Years is just about always spent at our neighbors (big bash). Our son turns 10 on Dec 31st. We do the family thing first, then we all head down there (walk, which is great for me the usual DD). Plenty of kids and adults, so his night just keeps on going. I'm sure he will have great B-days when he is older.

My drink of choice...Jack Daniels. With coke, or straight, as long as it's JD.

Budweiser all the time. I cant do liquor too much anymore, I think the years of abuse have really tore up my stomach. But I will get into the deer blood every once in awhile, and Hose Cuervo Citrico (lime tequila, gotta try it, its awesome), and vodka and energy 180's are good too. I read about another drink in maxim, 2oz Stoli vodka, 6oz Bud, hot sauce, salt and pepper, tomato juice, and clam juice. its called a beerded clam, I think it sounds great!

One of the biggest reasons I dont drnk liquor anymore is that I turn into a prankster drunk (some get angry, I turn into bozo the clown). One time I got so drunk, I stole these wooden reindeer from someones yard, carried the to the second floor roof of a bar (no idea how I didnt break my neck), and placed them on the point, in a RACY position. It was right by a major road too,lol

The other reason I dont drink heavily is thst the last time I did, I cut off my finger. Dont know how or where, I just did. That was a big eye opener.

Usually it's jack and coke, but I knocked down way too much on the 22 and ended up being sicker than hell the nxt day... Which is unheard of for me.

So I may sip a little champagne or take down a daquiri, but I don't think I'm ready for the big leauges again.

On a side note, puking tropicana tastes just like it did goig down. Might eat some bananas next time and puke a Smoothie.

Man - lots of Bud Light drinkers here. For my New Years - Bud Light and my new found friend - Gin and Tonic Water. May have to get me a special bottle of the good stuff. The Gordons ain't bad - but for new years - maybe some Bombay Sapphire or maybe Tangquaray (sp). Seems like that stuff doesn't hurt me the next morning like other booze does.

Heading to my parents place for a while - then to a real low key party - should be pretty uneventful, but fun - good friends will be there.

yeah they typically only let you do a few a day.

we're trying to get him to allow us to put all the beers in one day...I think that would be worthy of a place on the menu.

well im not a drinker anymore, been there, done that, not missing much. instead i will be out in the garage, listening to tunes on radio, tv on with times square on it, and hopefully the cloud of smoke will clear up long enough to see the ball drop. then back to regularly scheduled programs... puff puff pass.... ear! cough, cough, :)

60 pints of beer.... from 11 am to 2 am. I think it could work. plus I wouldn't have to drink like 15 of them, cause I've already had all of the ones on tap. so 45 pints in 13 hours....the best I've ever done is 17 pints in about 3 hours...maybe a little less.

it would certainly be a day for the record books.

My Company also makes and Bottles Tanquery and a bunch of other stuff. Keep me working! LOL The great thing about the alcohol beverage industry is we have both ends of the spectrum covered. People drink to celebrate and people drink to drown their sorrows. But be careful. Take advantage of your local designated driver program if you have one.
