I bought this knowing that it had some sort of jetting problem. I can get it to run with starting fluid for about 30 seconds, and pump the gas, and it sounds great. Then the thing just bogs and dies. I am not sure what to do. I was told to open the small screw 1 turn, and set the idle screw as needed to get ~1500 rpm. I just put the original jet back on 120. It had a 200 in it, but I get the same results. What should I do. Please help. Thanks. Oh, it was bored 60 over.
Have you taken apart the carb?
Maybe the floats are messed up and allowing the float bowl to overfill?

I just took it apart minutes ago, and everything looked good. It isn't the stock carb, although I do have that one. If the carb was over flowing, would gas come from it, because that does not happen. Thanks, and I can use all the help in the world.:Bounce

Also, the float shut off pin seems a little sloppy in the hole, is this normal?

sounds like mine will start ok sometimes and rev great but when i put in it gear it barely moves i have to pop the clutch to get anywhere
Try putting the stock carb on and see if it runs with that one.

I put the stock carb on her, and made some adjustment, and she runs like a top. Thanks a million for the help.

it idles fine and can rev high when not in gear then when its in gear it just bogs
onto mine why does it have no power?
do you let it warm up fully before youu try to start riding?
If so - jetting issue? If it's too lean it will 'surge' and not really move - too rich and it will 'sputter and bog'
My only suggestions - maybe someone else can offer better advice.

Well, if you changed the oil I hope you didn't use synthetic. Alot of synthetic oils are just to slippery for the old clutches. You probably will have to replace the clutch fiber plates in your transmission. Not that big of a deal really. Another thing you want to check for is that your wheel bearings in the front and rear are properly working. If you have alot of drag in your wheel bearings besides being worn out, they will affect how your trike runs in gear. Proper chain adjustment is another thing that can affect how your bike runs. A worn out or rusty chain is just as bad as a improperly adjusted chain. So you have to make sure your bike is at its' optimum operations wise. Also, you want to make sure your brakes are not dragging too much. The brakes improperly adjusted can affect how your trike runs too. All things to watch out for.
