I remember that was the hot ticket here back in the late 80's, everybody wanted quads because of all the crap being talked about how dangeroues they where. and with this simple kit, you can convert your bike into a quad. I seen a few done, I remember thinking, what an a$$hole, he ruined a perfectly good ATC. ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! oh well, there will always be followers to any cliff;)

yea there a 250r bored to 310 with a quad kit, kind of cool but it would have been better as a trike

yeah, I remember that one too. The one's I had seen where the 70 conversion and 200x conversions. They bogged the bike way down and ruined the entire bike.

When all that negative hype was going on you couldnt give 3 wheelers away where I live. I mean it. I bought a real nice 84 tecate in 90 for 100 bucks. No joke. Man if I only knew then what I do now and bought everything in sight. I remember riding up at Haspin on a 3 wheeler and feeling embarrassed because no one else would ride theirs anymore. Now you get more attention riding one than if you riding pam anderson. well, maybe that would be a little more fun. "and alot more dangerous!"
