These guys are trying to stop all recreational motorized fun. be it ATV or jet ski or whatever, they want to make it illegal everywhere.

I wouldn't say that. I've been around long enough to know that all it takes is just one time to make the sheep follow. Take smoking, They said that it would "never" happen but now in MN you can't smoke anywhere (even bars) and they are trying for more. I don't think we have anything to worry about but keep one eye on this and nipp it in the azz if it becomes a issue.:beer

If they are so against motorized recreation I hope they don't feel the need to call search and rescue when they get lost in the woods! Wouldn't want to make any pollution saving their dumb butts.shens They should throw away their Ipods, cell phones and PDA's since they cause pollution during the manufacturing process and are not recycleable. Let them live in a mud hut, wear a grass skirt and eat tofu for the rest of their lives!!!!!!!!!!:crazy:

You may be right but, what if they go after your machine? Sound far fetched? These people won't stop at public land, they will go after you if your land joins public lands. Noise polution is just one of the things they would use against you. I have been watching these types of people for years now and they don't know when to say when.

I agree with you, you should beable to do what you want on your land but, legally you can't scoop dirt into a pail and transplant it to a differant spot without a permit. (I know I can't do that here) You can't shoot a illegal gun or smoke pot on your land. If they get this, you won't be riding your machines on your land and neither will I.:(

This is such crap! Here in SoCal they are trying to take Johnson Valley OHV area and give it to the 29 Palms Marine Base So they can go and bomb the desert tortis. I gues the millitary needs all the land they can get to practic for whats to come. It wont be long before we don't owen any land. It will everybodys land that noone can touch. We need to stop this crap in its tracks. If the fine folks on this form will indulge me here is a link to save Jonson Valley OHV area. If they get one area they will get them all.
