You will have to hook up your shop vac to it when you use it.

I use 00 and 0 blast sand straight up. I got tired of walnut shells and glass beads....... They cost more, take too long and I have great results powder coating my stuff without using either of them.

If your polishing, you may want to use something a bit milder but I haven't found a situation as of yet that I need and less coarse.....

Plastic beads provide very smooth finish. It all depends on what your trying to do. If I am blasting some rare sand casted cylinders... I use walnut shells. If I am doing aluminum parts i use ground glass. If I am doing rusty steel... I use Aluminum Oxide.
